2022-03-19 Saturday Freedom/Trucker Support Peaceful Rally 1pm - 2pm Markham and Lawrence
There’s been a lot of progress since the Truckers went to Ottawa. If you are wondering why we still need to demonstrate and lobby our politicians just look at the materials Toronto Public Health has provided for the upcoming Board meeting on Monday http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/decisionBodyProfile.do?function=doPrepare&meetingId=21592 I don’t think they have learned anything from the pandemic. It looked to me at first glance that they are only recommending removing masking and other mandates because Ontario is doing so. I have the feeling that once we understand the full side effects from the lockdowns, masking, vaccine side effects, employment loss through vaccine mandates, disease and death from withholding early treatment etc the side effects will turn out to be worse than the disease. But unless we hold them to account they will do it again.
It’s important to demonstrate and organize locally so we can more effectively lobby our local Scarborough politicians. I will be at Markham and Lawrence 1pm -2pm. You are welcome to come earlier and/or stay longer. If you can’t see us from the corner at Markham and Lawrence, then please check the parking lot in front of Healthy Planet.
Please bring a sign, flag, empty gas cans, flyers etc. if you have them. Please dress warmly especially hands, feet, and head - expect rain. It helps to have your sign on a string around your neck so you don’t have to hold it. Healthy Planet is usually welcoming if you need to warm up. I personally wear a mask when I go in so as not to put them on the spot with respect to bylaw enforcement.
