C-11 Online Streaming; Chris Sky running for Mayor; CPSO access to patient records

https://privacyisyourright.ca/ was in court Thursday March 30th to try to limit the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) ability to view Doctor’s patient records without valid reason and/or when patients do not consent. Current Ontario law gives the CPSO the absolute [edit 2023-04-01 absolute may not be correct, I need to review the CPSO legislation] power to view patient records when investigating doctors, without informing patients. On the other hand any investigator needs a warrant to search your house and medical records are just as, if not more, personal than your house. This is an important case to determine if the courts will still enforce the Charter.

Please bring a sign, flag, flyers etc. if you have them. This is a chance to make connections. People have expressed interest in home schooling and alternate communities. UofT is enforcing vaccine mandates for residences at Scarborough Campus. Councillor Ainslie is back with his dismal approach to public health, although Councillor Ainslie is no longer on the Board of Health.
