Tamara Lich in Toronto August 1st; Community barbecues; Sarah A. Choujounian
Tamara pretty much filled the Eglinton Grand this Tuesday with a book signing and speech. This is my first time meeting her in person. She’s down to earth, kind and articulate, a natural leader. During the book signing, just about any random person I chatted with in the audience had an interesting story, including Rebel News reporter Tamara Ugolini who had her own run-in with the COVID laws. It was $5 and an evening well spent. Tamara’s trial starts in Ottawa this September and is currently scheduled for 16 non consecutive days which stretch into November. I asked around if there were any plans for a Freedom Convoy to Ottawa to co-inside with her trial but didn’t find anything. I didn’t ask Tamara so as not to get her in trouble with her bail conditions again - she was last arrested after receiving the Jonas Freedom award at the Eglinton Grand. Her legal fees are estimated at $300K. You can donate here - donations are tax deductible.
Scarborough-Guildwood Councillor Paul Ainslie is hosting free community barbecues 5:30pm to 7:30pm on August 9th and 10th. Details here. Councillor Ainslie is now off the Toronto Board of Health but he certainly was an ardent supporter of all aspects of the botched public health response to COVID-19 in Toronto. He recently voted against backyard hens. To his credit he does talk with me, but usually desperately wants to break away after a minute or two.
The next COVID-19 hearing for Sarah A. Choujounian (then click on Essential Information) is August the 8th. It usually starts at 9:30am. Email HearingsAdministrationGroup@cnomail.org for the hearing link on YouTube.
