Garnet Harper; lost cat
Garnet Harper of Sudbury, Ontario passed away on May 22, 2023, leaving behind his wife of 12 years and their 5 children. He was in need of a kidney transplant, which he was denied due to his vaccination status. Garnet's referral to a transplant centre was denied, meaning he wasn't even considered for a place on an organ donation list.
Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN), the Ontario organ donation agency, called Meghan Harper to harvest her husband Garnet’s organs as he lay dying.
Former MPP Randy Hillier called this "nothing short of premeditated murder".
This has gotten international attention, but nothing on cbc.ca.
Lost cat Jakey, responds to Kitty also, was last seen at Bournville and Prince Philip area in Guildwood, on August 15 early morning. He is very friendly, black with white maine, white whiskers, half Maine coon, fluffy and very alert. Please look in your backyard, shed, garage and under shrubs or bushes. If you have any information, please call 416-554-3163. Pictures here.
