Ongoing legal processes
I have no information on the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) penalty hearing for Dr Mark Trozzi spreading “misinformation” about COVID-19 that was supposed to be 2023-11-10. Meanwhile analysis from Justice for Medecine points out how badly the CPSO tribunal has got the law wrong. Unfortunately a lot of Freedom of Expression and related issues are decided by administrative tribunals in Ontario, at least in the first instance, including for all licenced medical professionals. Things you wouldn’t expect like bylaws regulating the freedom to express oneself through gardening in Ontario are almost always enforced administratively, not through tickets. Freedom of Information appeals go to the Information and Privacy Commissioner tribunal in the first instance.
Dr Trozzi also has an update here including the email feedback@cpso.on.ca you can use to send compliments on his work to the CPSO.
Per patriotsmoothie, there was supposed to be a scheduling conference for the trial of Tamara Lich and Chris Barber 2023-11-10. I have no update beyond that.
Do we still remember what Canada fought for 80 odd years ago???
Rally at Markham and Lawrence this Saturday from 11:00am - 12 noon
Please bring a freedom related sign, flag, flyers etc. if you have them. I have a now autographed copy of Tamara Lich’s book “Hold the Line” to lend out.
If you can’t see us from the corner at Markham and Lawrence, then check the parking lot in front of Healthy Planet.
Other rallies on Saturday:
Presumably there is a noon rally at Queen’s Park north side this weekend.
