WHO Assembly May 27th; Bill S-210, the Protecting Young Persons from Exposure to Pornography Act

49 US Senators led by Ron Johnson are opposing the WHO Pandemic Treaty/International Health regulations agreement. However in an interview on the Highwire, Ron Johnson says it’s not clear if the US Government would consider any agreements to be treaties that the Senate has to ratify. I’m not aware of any political party in Canada formally opposing the agreements but you can sign this CitizenGo petition directed at the Canadian federal government

Canada Senate Bill S-210, the Protecting Young Persons from Exposure to Pornography Act, is now before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. After that it only requires a final vote in the House to become law. While everyone acknowledges the importance of protecting children, S-210 is broadly drafted to most likely encompass sites like Reddit, Goggle etc. with the side-effect of surveilling adult usage of a large chunk of the internet through privacy destroying age verification.
