Alzheimer’s Research Fraud; Fluoridation; Sarah Choujounian

This blog usually focuses on issues with vaccines and public health, but there is a breaking story of alleged massive fraud in Alzheimer’s Research which should give pause to those that proclaim the “follow the science” mantra in any health related discipline. It appears to involve over one hundred papers by Eliezer Masliah , the former head of the Neuroscience Division at the US National Institute of Aging, which funds Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s research! Masliah’s papers have been fundamental in the field and serve as the basis for ongoing drug trials. More here and here.

This week’s Highwire also has a massive data dump on the so far uncovered health issues around water fluoridation and fluoride in general. Makes me wonder if it is even advisable to rinse the dishes in fluoridated water…
