Tamara Lich Conviction; FDA forces Peter Marks out
On Thursday Judge Perkins-Mcvey convicted Tamara Lich and Chris Barber of mischief. Ezra Levant who was at the trial said that judge Perkins-Mcvey interpreted Lich’s co-operation with police to move trucks out of downtown Ottawa as evidence of criminal intent and the judge considered the phrase “hold the line” as evidence of inciting mischief. The Democracy Fund gives somewhat more detail here. This is a concerning restriction on freedom of peaceful assembly and I expect to return to this once the full text of the decision becomes available, more groups with more legal knowledge have a chance to analyse it and when Tamara and Chris decide whether to appeal.
On the brighter side the US department of Health and Human Services this week forced out Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D., head of the agency that authorized the COVID-19 vaccines, appearing to cause Pharma stock prices to decline.
