Toronto Board of Health censors Dan Hartman
Dan Hartman's 2022-01-17 comments on the death of his son are mostly redacted
In preparing to speak on Monday, I've reviewed the YouTube minutes for the 2022-01-17 BoH meeting. They censor most of Dan Hartman's comments about the death of his son, Sean, shortly after a COVID-19 vaccination that was mandated by his hockey league. This starts about 2:09:36 / 4:32:58
I spoke immediately before Dan and stayed on the call to listen to Dan. From what I remember, Dan's son Sean, died shortly after a COVID-19 vaccination. Dan had 2 autopsies done. One couldn't ascertain the cause of death. The second did find the COVID-19 vaccine to be the cause of death. The person doing the second autopsy asked to remain anonymous for fear of professional retribution. There was discussion from the board. The most salient point I remember was a board member asking Dan what he was going to do next, instead of offering to help Dan resolve the issue.
I can't believe that Dan Hartman wanted to assert any confidentiality when he called in to a public meeting. He was clearly a father that wanted to publicly express his grief at losing his child shortly after vaccination in the hope of saving other children's lives. Normal healthy grief involves reaching out to others. Censoring his speech is not protecting Dan, it is cruelly denying his ability to grieve publicly.
The 2022-02-24 Board of Health meeting did not adopt the minutes for the 2022-01-17 meeting, at least in the open portion of the February meeting. I’m expecting the minutes for 2022-01-17 to be adopted at the meeting on Monday. If the Board adopts the minutes without reversing the censorship, we need to condemn any member that didn’t object to the 2022-01-17 minutes.
It's time consuming to sit on the call and speak, but your Board of Health is out of control and needs your oversight. In January the Board closed the speakers list off during the meeting. There is a good chance you will be able to speak if you sign up before 9:30am. on Monday. To speak

Complete the email that pops up. In my experience the City Clerk has not required an address and phone to speak.
