Nurse Sarah A. Choujounian’s ongoing disciplinary hearing 2024-08-02

Ms Choujounian, hereafter Sarah as her lawyer called her, completed her testimony in chief today by covering social media posts #8 - #12 at issue in Appendix “A” of her notice of hearing. Please refer to the notice of hearing for the description of each post.

As on the 22nd her testimony followed a similar pattern for each item. Her lawyer would play any video associated with each item to give the panel the full context while asking Sarah to clarify and justify elements of the post as they went through it. Sarah explained her thought process and research. She generally searched on the internet and/or relied on other health professionals such as doctors. Sarah was unable to specify where she got the infection fatality rate (IFR). Ioannidis calculated about .3% while Ms Choujounian was quoting an order of magnitude less if I heard correctly. Ms Choujounian did correctly compare the COVID-19 IFR to that of the flu. Also Ms Choujounian’s internet research led her to believe vaccine manufacturers had blanket immunity from vaccine liability which is probably true for the US but may not hold in Canada.

As on the 22nd, in my opinion Ms Choujounian’s basic common sense approach turned out to be a lot more correct and aged a lot better than the official Public Health response. She also continually stressed the importance of her statements towards providing information the public needs for informed consent which presumably goes into the Charter 2b argument for protecting this speech. Sarah also raised the Nuremberg Code requirement for informed consent to experiments to justify her statements about the vaccines as crimes against humanity. I believe the Nuremberg Code has some legal status in Canada and will be interested if Mr. Boissonneau-Lehner develops Nuremberg in his closing legal arguments. Sarah also repeatedly argued she shouldn’t be held to every detail of every repost, although when pressed by Mr. Boissonneau-Lehner she agreed with pretty much everything in the reposts. She also repeatedly argued that statements needed to be taken in context. For example when posts said there was no pandemic, they really meant no deadly pandemic that significantly reduced the population, not that there was no COVID-19 virus spreading.

There was almost no legal wrangling and the tribunal counsel was not involved except for a cursory check in from the chair of the tribunal at the end of the day. Mr. Boissonneau-Lehner has served (slightly late) notice of an additional expert: Dr. Speaker?

If anyone else also takes notes, I’d be interested in sharing the work and/or comparing notes. Dr Byram Bridle was able to stand up to Miss Shortread. I think Ms. Choujounian will have a harder time because she doesn’t have the same concentration, focus and depth of knowledge as Dr. Bridle. Also much of the evidence she would like to rely on hasn’t been admitted yet. In my opinion Ms Choujounian does have the truth on her side. Let’s hope she does well.
